The robots were “having fun” in the park: They were playing football and doing back flips

The Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) has decided to demonstrate the capabilities of its robots Cheetah, so they let them have “fun” in the park.

The video shows nine robots walking on a lawn covered with dry leaves, kicking a soccer ball, and even doing somersaults backwards. At one point, they danced in sync. Of course, they were controlled by people with remote controls.

This video shows how the MIT project is progressing Mini Cheetah. MIT plans to produce a fleet that will be used for research projects, reports Klix.ba.

Robots could be used in the future for dangerous jobs, searches and rescuing people.
