Mercedes will present the new E-Class at the Geneva Motor Show.

After the restyling, the E-Class will be most reminiscent of C-Class vehicles, but only after the last cosmetic refinements have been done on them.

According to Auto Bild, the most noticeable changes on the outside are on the front and rear light groups, the front grill, but also the bumpers.

When you enter the cabin, it is clear at first glance how much the new version of the E-Class has been improved – there is a modern, multifunction steering wheel with switches for numerous controls, air quality indicator outside and inside the cabin, as well as a large 10.25-inch screen with MBUX infotainment system and voice commands.

At first glance, seven new hybrid and electric models are coming to everyone’s attention, in order to meet a number of stricter pollution regulations in the European Union.

More attention has been paid to expanding the driving assistance package, which includes an active steering wheel that keeps you inside the lane, a blind spot detector, emergency braking, a 360-degree parking camera and adaptive cruise control which is very useful in driving situations through the city crowds, reports Auto Bild.

Another improvement is the security package, which prevents vehicle theft. The vehicle will have several security cameras to show if someone even tried to steal, or if another person damaged the vehicle in the parking lot, and there is also a display of the location via the “Mercedes Me” smartphone app.

New versions of the E-Class in coupe, station wagon and convertible edition will be on display at the Geneva Motor Show from March 5 to 15.

The official sale, according to the announcements, will start during the summer months, and deliveries are being prepared for early autumn.
