The new, limited edition three Maserati models, including the Ghibli, Levante and Quattroporte, are a homage to the legendary 1986 model and will be produced in a total of 300 units (100 pieces from each model).
A lot of things in these models of the special series, as reported by Auto Bild, should be reminiscent of the legendary 1986 Quattroporte, with a special emphasis on comfort, quality of materials in the cabin, but also a six-cylinder engine.
The new Levante, Ghibli and Quattroporte should be available in metallic green and blue, with slightly more wooden details on the instrument panel and the finest leather in the interior.
On the outside, according to Auto Bild, the changes are most noticeable on the wheels, as well as the brake shoes that come in a silver shade. This series “Royale” will stand out for another detail in the interior – each produced copy will have a separate board marked “one of 100” (one of 100)…
The standard equipment will include a Brown & Wilkins sound system, heating of all seats in the vehicle, as well as the steering wheel, plus driving assistance systems such as stop-start system, adaptive cruise control, emergency braking and blind spot detectors.
The most interesting part for most drivers, according to Auto Bild, is what the drive of the new Italian beasts will be like. The exclusivity of the six-cylinder means that the engine will be “pulled” by 271 horsepower, and the more powerful 3.0-liter V6 engines will come with 345 and 424 horsepower. The new models are not planned to be made with a V8 engine unit.
Orders for Maserati models from “Royale” are already possible, and the first deliveries should start in March.
Prices range from around 91,000 euros for the Ghibli, then just over 99,000 euros for the Levante, while at the top is the Quattroporte with a price of just over 120,000 euros.
