IPH: 528 new positives were registered, seven deaths were reported

528 new cases of coronavirus infection have been registered in Montenegro, and seven patients have died as a result of the infection, the Institute of Public Health (IPH) announced.

It is stated that the laboratories of the IPH and other public and private laboratories that deal with the diagnosis of the new coronavirus infection completed the analysis yesterday and the IPH submitted the results for 2,175 samples for the new coronavirus.

The new patients are from the following municipalities: Podgorica 153, Nikšić 106, Bar 40, Pljevlja 35, Bijelo Polje 29, Cetinje 26, Ulcinj 26, Berane 19, Kotor 16, Danilovgrad 16, Rožaje 12, Budva 10, Tuzi 9, Herceg Novi 8, Kolasin 6, Tivat 5, Mojkovac 5, Andrijevica 3, Savnik 2, Pluzine 1, Zabljak 1.

Since yesterday’s cross-section, seven deaths related to Kovid-19 have been reported to the Institute in patients from Pljevlja (1), Berane (1), Cetinje (1), Nikšić (1), Bar (1), Ulcinj (1), and Kotor (1), of whom the youngest was 49 and the oldest 79 years old.

They said that recovery was reported in 667 patients by 3 pm.

The total number of deaths related to Kovid-19 infection in Montenegro since the beginning of the pandemic is 1,129.

Taking into account all newly discovered cases as well as the number of recovered, the total number of currently active cases of Kovida-19 in Montenegro is 8,953.

Since the beginning of the epidemic events (March 2020), the total number of registered cases of infection with the new coronavirus in Montenegro is 83,693.
