The Ministry of Economic Development once again appealed to all competent institutions to take the necessary steps within their competencies in order to resolve all open issues related to the Aluminum Plant (KAP) as quickly and efficiently as possible.

The State Secretary of the Ministry of Economic Development, Milena Lipovina Božović, together with her associates, visited the KAP facilities today as part of regular activities in order to get better acquainted with the way the company operates.

“The management of Uniprom KAP, together with the representatives of the Ministry, visited the production facilities and acquainted them in detail with the complete production process, as well as the company’s plans for the next period,” the Ministry said in a statement.

Lipovina Božović reminded that the bankruptcy in that company was introduced in 2013, and that all decisions in KAP are implemented by the bankruptcy trustee, as well as that the Ministry of Economic Development sent a request to the Directorate for Inspection Affairs to control the working conditions in its domain. which the company operates.

She said that the Ministry of Economic Development held meetings with the representatives of the workers, the bankruptcy trustee and the general manager of KAP at the beginning of this week, at which the current events were discussed.
