Alfa Romeo will officially present the new production model on June 24, but it is not known whether it will be a smaller crossover, or a sports model of the Grand Tourer.
According to the announcements of the Italian media, it will most likely be a smaller crossover model, which will be made on the PSA platform.
The new crossover would be positioned in the Alfa vehicle range between the Stelvio SUV and the upcoming Tonale.
If it is really made on the PSA platform, as Auto Bild reports, then it should be expected that it is very similar to the Peugeot 2008 model in terms of shape and engine power.
The Italian brand recorded weak sales in America in 2019 (only 18,292 vehicles sold), and even such modest figures represent a drop of 23 percent compared to 2018.
